Antakya Turkey images

We could not help but see the interesting contrasts in the the scene as we were coming back from lunch yesterday.  Crossing a busy street, in Antakya city center, were a herd of ghoats and a herder, with the herder being on his cel phone.  An amazing link between traditional and modern.

We also had the opportunity and privilege as a CSC team yesterday to attend the rehearsal of the Civilization Choir.  This is a local choir that has played in New York at the UN.  The choir is made up of local Muslims, Christians and Jewish people and they sing songs from each of the faiths.  Even in rehearsal, the performance was moving.
